I first drew this piece and then was led to the scripture Matthew 18:20 when Jesus said “Where two or more gather there am I with them.” The context of this verse was about solving disagreements within the church but also explains that church is not a specific place but the people who come together to seek God. Church is not a building but it is anywhere two or more can come together in God's name and align with Him. He wants us to communicate with each other so we can learn and grow in spirit. Jesus also says if two agree about anything and ask for it God will do it for them. God is within each of us and we are meant to share our spiritual knowledge with each other.
